The ARCUS Movie Player requires Apple's QuickTime 2.0, which is included on the disc.
OPERATING THE ARCUS PLAYER:
When the player appears on the screen, click anywhere on it to open the controller. The movie can be controlled using the buttons on the left. By clicking on the chapter buttons, you can change to different places in the movie.
The buttons on the right side of the Arcus "A" are book marks. Simply click on the blue button to mark your place and use the green button to it's right to return to that part of the movie anytime. When you return to a bookmark, the screen size is set to the smallest size but can immediately be resized. Bookmarks do not remain after you quit the application.
The "!" button is hides the application. To bring back the movie, click anywhere on the screen.
The button to the farthest right expands the movie from quarter screen to half screen to full screen (640X 480). Performance will vary greatly depending on you processor and video card. Click anywhere on the video to return to the player.
The "CNTL" button toggles the QuickTime controller. When the movie is expanded to full screen, the controller is automatically turned off.
Volume can be adjusted by pressing the keys "1" through "8." The "1" key mutes the audio.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
To view the movie you should have a 68030 or better CPU with 8-bit (256 color) or better graphics. Your MAC should have at least 5MB of available RAM, and a double speed CD-ROM drive.
